Age Concern Estepona y Manilva is a 100% voluntary association dedicated to providing social activities, home visits, food, advice and support to the residents of Estepona and Manilva. Our mission is to make a positive impact on the lives of the elderly in our community and combat social isolation and loneliness.
My brother from the UK has lived in Estepona for over 30 yrs. He lost his wife 4yrs ago so has no family to help locally. He has displayed signs of dementia recently and on Christmas Day had a mild stroke and went into Costa del Sol hospital where dementia was also confirmed. We found Age Concern Estepona and along with two wonderful friends who helped my brother and family were helped immeasurable by Marie-Andree.
She immediately eased our stress by providing advice on procedures about obtaining care and financial help and was always available to talk on any other relevant queries .Her patience and compassion was reassuring at a difficult time. The family cannot thank you enough. We would also like to thank everyone involved with Age Concern Estepona for providing a crucial service for ex pats in need
